The ERW 700 flow and heat energy calculator uses measured input variables (flow rate, differential pressure, pressure, temperature, density) to calculate the resulting variables such as volume, corrected flow rate, mass flow rate and mass of liquids, gases and steam.

It can be combined with conventional flow measurement methods (differential pressure flowmeter, vortex flowmeter, ultrasonic flowmeter, etc.) and offers high accuracy for calculating density, enthalpy and compressibility. Key features include:

  • Compatible with various sensors (pressure, temperature, flow)
  • Fast computing thanks to 24-bit analog-to-digital converters
  • Data storage capabilities, flexible display, and specific functions for applications such as bi-directional metering and condensate monitoring

It supports Pt100/500/1000 temperature measurements, and offers inputs for currents, pulses and frequencies. Sophisticated data acquisition and storage
The ERW 700 features advanced storage functions: instantaneous, periodic or fixed-date data logging. Set-up is simple, accessible via PC software or a front-mounted keypad. What's more, the backlit graphic display makes it easy to read measurements and parameters, even in poorly lit environments.

With a tough ABS plastic housing, the ERW 700 offers IP65 protection, making it perfect for demanding environmental conditions. It is surge-protected and password-protected, ensuring maximum reliability and security for your critical applications. It requires no regular maintenance, and calibration is recommended only every five years.
