1584,00 € Request a quoteThis measuring instrument is a clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter that can measure the volumetric flow rate of a liquid inside a pipe by attaching it from the outside. By making full use of the latest electronic and digital signal processing technologies, this ultrasonic flowmeter is considerably more compact than conventional flowmeters. It integrates the transmitter and flow sensor, eliminating the need to wire signal cables, while its grease-free design makes it easy to mount on pipes.
Flow is "visualized" using Fuji Electric's long-established ultrasonic flow measurement technologies.

By using the ultrasonic pulses transmitted diagonally between the upstream and downstream sensors mounted on the outside of the pipe, the flow rate is measured by detecting the time difference obtained by the flow of fluid.

Compared to conventional flow transmitter (type : M-Flow FLR ultrasonic flowmeter), the size is reduced by approximately 76%.
Its compact design allows installation in areas where space is limited, such as in densely-spaced piping and inside equipment.
A built-in temperature measurement function, enables simultaneous measurement of flow rate and temperature.
In addition to piping for pure water manufacturing processes, cleaning processes, and equipment cooling, it can also be mounted inside equipment where there is densely-spaced small-diameter piping.
It can be installed to cold and hot water piping throughout the entire building. By measuring the flow rate, it facilitates more efficient fan coil unit (FCU) operations. Mounting and measuring method
Using a clamp-on mounting method, the ultrasonic flowmeter offers convenient installation without process interruption. The transit time measurement method guarantees optimum accuracy for homogeneous fluids, where ultrasonic signals can be transmitted efficiently.

Pipe materials and thicknesses

Display, Outputs and Options
The flowmeter features a 4-digit 2-line LED display for easy monitoring. Output signals include 4 to 20 mA DC (1-point) and contact (2-point). A pipe surface temperature measurement option is also available.
Power supply and weight
With a power supply of 20 to 27.5 V DC and a power consumption of 2.5 W or less, the S-Flow flowmeter is energy-efficient. Weights vary according to model: FSZ08 (400 g), FSZ15 (500 g), FSZ25 (600 g).
