The electromagnetic flowmeter with its M1000 transmitter is one of the best solutions for bidirectional flow measurement of liquids with conductivity > 5 μS/cm (> 20 μS/cm for demineralized water).
Its excellent price/performance ratio makes it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
All information such as instantaneous flow rate, totalized volume and alarm messages are displayed on the backlit LCD indicator. The converter comes with a large number of inputs/outputs and communication interfaces as standard, enabling it to meet every need.
The M1000 electromagnetic flow meter comes in an aluminum housing with IP67 protection. This allows it to be used outdoors in harsh environmental conditions. The version of the M1000 electromagnetic flow meter with a stainless steel housing has been specially developed for applications in the food industry.
Food and Energy Flexibility
Power supply is an essential element of any measuring device, and this flowmeter offers a wide choice. With a power supply range from 92 to 275 VAC at 50/60 Hz, requiring less than 10 VA, or an option for a 9 to 36 VDC supply, it can be adapted to a variety of industrial environments.
Multiple outputs for maximum adaptability
The flowmeter offers an analog output from 0/4 to 20 mA, with an output impedance of less than 800 ohms. A logic/frequency output offers two passive "open collector" outputs with options from 0 to 100 Hz up to 10,000 Hz. These outputs can be active even when the analog output is not in use, offering maximum flexibility. In addition, output 2 can be configured as an SSR with a capacity of up to 230 Vac/500 mA.
Advanced functions for precise control
Logic output functions include min/max alarms, preselection, flow direction indication and error messages, providing detailed control and real-time feedback on flow conditions.
Empty Tube Detection and Intuitive Programming
Empty tube detection is provided by a separate electrode, ensuring maximum reliability even in difficult conditions. Flowmeter programming is simplified thanks to three front panel buttons, providing easy access to advanced functions.
Versatile Communication Interface
To meet modern connectivity needs, the flowmeter offers a variety of communication interfaces. From RS232 to RS422/RS485 Modbus®RTU as standard, to options such as HART™, M-Bus and ETHERNET (Modbus®TCP/IP), it offers maximum compatibility with industrial control systems.
Extended Measuring Range and Exceptional Accuracy
With a measurement range from 0.03 to 12 m/s, the flowmeter guarantees complete coverage of industrial requirements. Accuracy is maintained at 0.3% ±2 mm/s of the measured flow value, offering unrivalled reliability in a variety of application scenarios.
Robust and user-friendly
The flowmeter is housed in a robust cast aluminum case, with IP67 protection, making it suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions. The backlit graphic LCD display offers optimum visibility, showing current flow rate, two totalizers and system status.
Durable design for extreme conditions
With M20 cable glands for power supply and outputs, and a well-protected sensor cable, the flowmeter is designed to withstand ambient temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C.
